Chris Summerlin
Perry Campus Pastor
Pastor Chris began his ministry journey while attending Emmanuel University in Georgia, where he also met his wife, Alicia. They were married in 1997, and he graduated from Emmanuel in 1998 before entering full-time ministry. He was ordained with the Assemblies of God in 2003. In 2014, Pastor Chris and Alicia transitioned from student ministry to lead pastoral ministry in Mobile, Alabama. While serving as lead pastor, he continued his education at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, earning both a Master of Ministry and a Master of Business Administration.
Alicia serves as a full-time registered nurse. Together, she and Pastor Chris have three children:
Michal, Emma, & Luke. The Summerlin family notes they enjoy sports and spending time on the water, including boating and fishing.
Pastor Chris considers it an honor to partner with Pastor Darrell and The Assembly in advancing the Kingdom of God. He is passionate about serving the Church's broader mission and helping to carry forward a shared vision for ministry.
